DDAWNY: 35th Developmental Disability Awareness Day– Keynote Speaker

The Conference Center Niagara Falls (Niagara Falls, NY)

I was honored to be the Keynote Speaker!

Celebrating 35 years as the largest conference of its kind in the United States!

For 35 years, Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day (DDDAY) has grown into the largest U.S. conference on developmental disabilities. With keynotes, entertainment, an art room, vendor fair, and awards, it owes its success to a community of presenters. These include individuals, parents, and professionals from Western New York, who create an informative event.

Professionals from various agencies specializing in services for people with developmental disabilities will be available to offer guidance and information about their services.

DDDAY is a cornerstone of the Western New York community, connecting agencies, vendors, direct support professionals, and the people they support. The event grows more comprehensive each year.

Awards for personal achievement, service provider of the year, community service, and caregiver of the year are presented at the luncheon, hosted by a local celebrity.

The event also features an art show by local artists with disabilities, a Healthy You forum, and a variety of entertainment—from music to spoken word to dance.

The DDDAY website will serve as a one-stop location for registration and information on the conference.
